Support efforts for Tampico and its inhabitants date back to the arrival of Don Leo Fleishman in the city. Later his son H.H. Fleishman and his grandson H.H. Jack Fleishman continued to be actively involved in causes supporting schools, firefighters and community through personal efforts and Club Rotario  

In honor of Don H.H. Fleishman, Fundación Fleishman was born with the aim of giving Tampico a little of everything that Tampico has given us. This Foundation reaffirmed the social commitment of the company and the family, who for decades actively participated in supporting education, culture, health, and social development in Tampico and the region through numerous community programs.

During this year, a decree was issued recognizing Fundación Fleishman as an Assistance Center, which strengthened the scope of its actions in favor of vulnerable sectors of society in southern Tamaulipas.
